TODDINGTON MANOR is set in the heart of Bedfordshire, easy to reach and the ideal place to spend a quiet afternoon.
The GARDENS cover 10 acres, mostly replanted since the 1970's, filled with herbaceous plants, roses, delphiniums and peonies. Designed to have a quiet style and elegance not found in many other gardens. Each area is carefully planned for colour, form and texture and is a treat at any time of the year, but is breathtakingly beautiful during May, June and July.
Adjacent to the manor is the VINTAGE TRACTOR COLLECTION. Several farm buildings are filled with fascinating tractors and farm machinery, many of which you can examine at close-quarters and even sit on.
The WOODS AND LAKES cover about 100 acres and are open to walkers and naturalists. Elevated walkways beside the lakes are great fun for children; nets and buckets are for pond-dipping, though fishing is only allowed by prior permission.
DOG WALKERS are welcome, provided their pets are kept under control on a lead.
Please note that the HOUSE is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
